Notes
Black Cottage Rosé was inspired by founder,
Dave Clouston’s long stints in Corsica and the South of France where he crafted fresh, crisp, dry, salmon pink rosé wines. Here in Marlborough the 2020 season was warm and dry with cool nights which led to good acid levels. The season produced pristine fruit with beautifully ripe flavours. Treated as a white wine in the cellar, this rosé had the added benefit of eight weeks on light yeast lees, increasing the texture and mineral notes.
